07/08/09 Brooklyn's candidates are out in force petitioning for the November ballot. Derek Sacerdote, Roger Sarrabo, and Noel Burke are running for City Council, and Michael Sanchez is running for Borough President. If their petitions are successful, the Libertarian Party name and emblem will appear on every voting machine in Brooklyn.

Hardfire is a libertarian cable-TV political talk show, produced in Brooklyn, NY. Hardfire is shown on Brooklyn cable and is live-streamed on the Internet Mondays at 10:30 PM at http://www.bcat.tv/bcat/default.asp, channel 2 and on Time-Warner channel 35 and
Cablevision channel 68, so it can be seen anywhere in the world. Hosts so far have been John Clifton, Chair of the Libertarian Party of New York; Jim Lesczynski, Chair of the Manhattan Libertarian Party; and Joseph Dobrian, Director of Media Relations for the Manhattan Libertarian Party.
