Promoting Common Sense Ideas (P.C.S.I.) is a small, but growing, and worthy political organization dedicated to the promotion of common sense ideas that need a greater voice in our society today. These changes are undoubtedly better than current policies, but like with Galileo when the “Flat Earth Society” reigned supreme, misguided opposition is strong. Here is some of what we are working, for.

 SOCIAL: Legalize the vice activities of Drugs, Prostitution, and Gambling. Where feasible, providing for, and restricting smoking to, areas with a segregated air supply. Freedom to hire, or do business with anyone you want, for any reason at all. (This would prohibit government mandating affirmative action, but permit it otherwise). Jokes, comments, pictures, and suggestions, should be protected forms of speech, or expression, even if offensive to some, and not legally actionable. (Government censorship is the only true obscenity; Pornography is an art form). In court proceedings, the emphasis should be on finding the truth, not procedural games. Placing, “None of the above” on all ballots.

 ECONOMIC: An end of all price supports and most subsidies for private industries. Eliminate Federal income, capital gains, and estate taxes. Replacing taxpayer funded programs with user fees. Treating tax debt, as any other unsecured debt. Conditional school vouchers. Elimination of the asinine and costly requirement of a prescription to procure medication.

 SAFETY: Accelerated development and deployment of an asteroid detection and deflection system. Spreading oral rabies vaccine in the wilderness. Immediate banning of M.T.B.E., (the gasoline additive the government said would save the planet that is now rapidly poisoning the water).
