This year our annual State Convention is being hosted by the Hudson Valley Libertarian Party, and will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2013, at The Rhinecliff Hotel, located in beautiful Dutchess County on the banks of the Hudson River, at 4 Grinnell Street, Rhinecliff, NY 12574. The hotel is located 5 miles from Kingston, NY, across the Kingston-Rhinecliff Bridge.
You can come via Train (Amtrak), Car (NYS Thruway), small Plane (Kingston Airport) or Boat (Hudson River). The Rhinecliff is an historic railway hotel, built in 1854 to meet the charge up the Hudson of the mighty New York Central Line from New York City to Albany. Approximately 90 minutes by train from NYC’s Penn Station, or 60 minutes from Albany’s Rensselaer Station, it is just a two minute walk from the Rhinecliff Amtrak station.
The cost is $60 if you pay prior to April 20, or $75 after that. Click here to pay online. You can also renew your membership in the LPNY at the same time. You must be a member of the LPNY as of December 31, 2012, and also a member on the day of the Convention, in order to be a voting delegate.

Welcome to the website of the Libertarian Party of New York!
Whether you’re a staunch libertarian, or interested in learning more, I hope you’ll find our site a valuable resource for connecting with like-minded people across the state, and staying informed as we head toward elections across the state in 2013.
If you’d like to get involved locally, please see our Local Chapters and Mailing Lists pages. For information on our campaigns this year, please see our Campaign 2013 page. If you’re interested in being a candidate in the 2013 elections, please visit our Run for Office page.
2012 was one of our most successful ever. As we continue to expand, establishing new affiliates and reaching out to voters, I expect we will field a record number of candidates in 2013.
We can’t do it without you! Whether you’re interested in running for office, volunteering your time, or if you’re able to help us get the word out, and our candidates on the ballot with your donation, the time for action is now.
